I NEED HELP!!!

I think I'm in over my head.

I decided this year that I want to start a team for Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research & education.

I've wanted to do it in the past 5 years but I didn't know anyone that was doing it, I still don't.

This year I decided to just find out the information myself & start my own team.

Yes I think I'm crazy, who does this when they have 2 almost 2 year olds & one on the way?

I guess that would be me.

I'm trying to take charge & do something good.

Have any of you ever done this program or ever heard of it?

If so please help me!!!

I need good DEPENDABLE people to join my team as members or support walkers.

Team members help me raise money & do fund raisers etc. and are 100% invested in the walk as well.

The support walkers are ones who also can help with raising money but they are mostly support walkers on the day of the relay.

The Relay is at Roy High School June 19th and is a 24 hour long walk to raise money for cancer research & education.

One team member or support walker has to be on the track at all times so you do get a break you don't have to walk for 24 hours straight unless you want to.

I will be taking turns as I will be like 7 months pregnant.

We will have a camp site for tents etc for those that want to stay over night.

There is entertainment & activities that will be going on around the clock & a ton of food I'm told.

Everyone that I have talked to so far says that it is a blast & that you will want to do it every year.

So I need team members, support walkers & PLEASE any ideas on fund raisers or ways to raise money that you have.

Get your creative juices going & please help me out.

Blogging Slump.....

I've been in a blogging slump for awhile now.

I just feel like I have nothing important or interesting to say these days.

That or I have a good idea, but I forget it before I can blog about it.

I'm so sick of winter, the snow and gray sky's.

I need some sunshine & warm weather.

I need spring & summer.

I think I need a vacation where it's warm & I can wear shorts & lay by the pool.

Is anyone else feeling this way?

Please tell me I'm not alone!!!

A New Calling.

I am so excited I have a new calling in church.

They took me out of Nursery & put me back in Young Women's!

My very 1st calling was in Young Women's & I fell in love right away.

The Girls were sweet & ambitious & the leaders I was with were amazing.

I was a Laurel Advisor & then the Secretary before I was put in Nursery.

Now I am the Mia Maid Advisor & I'm loving it so far.

Sometimes I don't know if the girls are learning more or if I'm learning more.

I love to be around those amazing spirits & smiling faces.

I hope that I will do a good job & the girls will benefit from the lessons that I have learned in my life & continue to learn.

2009 is looking to be a very good year for me!  :)

Good News!

To everyone or anyone that reads my blog 1st of all Thank You!

2nd I'm Sorry I've been Absent.

I have been so busy with the holidays and new year that I haven't had time or made time to blog.

That and I'm just getting over a really bad cold that has gone it's rounds through out my family.

So I promise I'm really going to try to post more often.

Oh and one more Big reason why I haven't posted.....

Yep I'm 9 weeks Pregnant and have had a lot of morning sickness.

I think I'm finally starting to feel a little better though.

This is my last little one after my C-section I'm having my tubes tied.

So pray for a girl this time or Court & I are gonna be really out numbered.

Oh and it's for sure just one this time!!!

May our Prayers Help Heal.

I know I haven't done a new post forever.

Hopefully I'll be able to do a better job at posting on a regular basis.

Right now I just wanted to tell everyone about a very special little boy who is fighting for his life.

His name is Briggs Hill he is 2 years old & he has been diagnosed with Medulloblastoma which is a highly malignant cancer.

Here is a picture of him, his mom & his big brother.

He is such a happy sweet little boy & he needs all the prayers & good thoughts that we can send to him & his family.

His parents Sylina & Brenn are good friends of ours.

Little Briggs has already been through so much & he just keeps fighting through it all.

He has been in the PICU at Primary Children's Hospital since Nov 11th.

Carrie Underwood.

I know that this post is a bit late but I'm posting it anyways.

The purpose of this blog for me from the beginning has always been a journal.

I started it to keep some memories (I need to do a better job) so I guess better late than never.

So as you know from my previous post I went to the Carrie Underwood concert with my daughter Courtnie, her friend Nicole & my cute Cousin Kelsey.

We had so much fun Carrie is a wonderful entertainer & she is funny as well as a great singer.

We started the night off with some dinner everywhere we went was like an hour wait so we just went to Denny's.

Then it was off to the concert....

Little Big Town opened up for her & they were really good.

Then the excitement mounted.....

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

A few months ago my daughter told me that she wanted to go to the Carrie Underwood concert.

Her dad gave her money for a ticket for an early christmas present. 

She called up her good friend Nicole and she brought her money to get her a ticket to go also.

And surprise!!!

She even asked her mom if she wanted to go!!!

I know a teenager actually wanting her mom to go, & not as a driver (because she has her license & her own car).

I said no at first, you know the whole money thing.

But after I thought about it for awhile I thought I'd be stupid to miss out on this bonding time with my baby girl.

So I'm going to see Carrie Underwood tonight!!!

But I think I'm more excited to be spending some quality time with my beautiful daughter & that's really what it's all about!!!

What is it about boys???

My boys are only 18 months old & already my little man Kelton thinks it's so funny when he farts!

He will fart and laugh his head off like it's the funniest thing in the world.

And he always has to make sure that you know he did it, he will look at you & laugh.

In a way as gross as it is, it's still cute.

I mean look at that happy little stinker!

Now he has learned to make the noise with his mouth to.

So every time he farts he laughs at himself & then makes the sound with his mouth.

what am I going to do?  

I'm in for it with 2 of them I just know it!

Boys 18 month check up.

Today the boys had there 18 month check up.

They are getting so big I can't believe they are already almost 2.

They are growing & developing just like they are suppose to.

Gage is:

26 pounds & 32 inches long

&

Kelton is:

23 pounds & 31 inches long.

They are so funny they were dancing around for the dr. & telling her animal sounds & showing her there body parts.

I am so proud of them they are so smart & bring such joy to my life.

I cannot even imagine my life with out them in it.

You know God works in mysterious ways.

I have had a few family problems lately, & a few personal set backs.

I haven't felt like myself for awhile now & have been very hard on myself.

I was catching up on my sister Nikki's blog & she had exactly what I needed.

I'm not sure where she found this video but it sure made me stop & do some serious thinking.

It reminded me that I cannot be sorry, sad or mad about the things that I don't have or cannot be.

I am ME and I am worth it, I am worth more than even I know & I have to be thankful for Everything & Everyone in my life.

I have found in my life that things happen for a reason & people happen into our lives for a reason.

We may not know at the time why things happen, we may never know, but everything does happen for a reason.

I have been reminded to be Thankful for everything that I do have, and I really do have a lot to be Thankful for.
