Another trip to Lake Powell.

Sorry I've been so lax on posting.
We took another trip to Lake Powell this last weekend & we had a ton of fun.
We really needed at least one day longer though.
We left the big kids home because last time they got bored & did the usual teenager pout thing.
They wanted us to constantly run them to the marina where they could get service so they could talk & text there friends.
When we didn't do what they wanted 24/7 then they would get mad & pout.
Plus my daughter had to work so since it was just the weekend we left them home.
They both live at there dads house anyways.
(He lives about 2 blocks away from us)
The whole thing is another post altogether, I'll tell you about it another time.

Anyway we had a very good time.
Here are some pics.....

The boys had so much fun playing in the marina the water was so warm it was like 81 degrees.
I had a hard time getting them out.

Dad had a good time doing his thing!

The boys always have a good time on the boat.
Kelton wearing mom's glasses.
(I can't get him to wear his own, but he'll wear mine crazy kid!)

Gage watching the older boys, dad & grandpa cliff diving.
Jer's sister Steph, borhter in-law Roger & there oldest son Colby on there boat.
Kelton & dad swinging.
(Gage didn't like the water unless he could run around in it himself.)

Grandpa climbing the rocks to cliff dive.

Grandpa resting after his long climb.
Grandpa jumping!!!
Way to go Grandpa!!!

Random pics.....

Packing up to come home.

To all of our family that couldn't make it this time you were missed.
Oh & I actually got in the lake.
(that's a big deal for me because I am deathly afraid of water that I can't see the bottom).

WHAT THE.......

Ok I check my feedjit every now & then to see where I'm getting hits from and I have to tell you all I think there are some Very Sick People out there!

I got a hit from Rome...they googled

"Making sure she's not a virgin anymore by roughing her up"
(They got to me because I have a post about not being a Bunco virgin anymore)

I can not believe the things people search for.

Have any of you ever had something like this happen?
If so what was your experience like, what was a strange hit to you?
Please tell me I'm not the only one that gets weird searches sent to my blog!!!
I would love to hear your stories.

Is this a New Twilight trailer?

You all know that I'm a huge Twilight fan (who isn't) and I can't wait for the movie to come out on Nov 21st!!!
But this video was brought to my attention by my friend Heather
on her post today & I just had to borrow it & share it with all of you.

I have to tell you all about my wonderful husband!

I want to share a moment that we had together last year.
We were married July 15th 2006 it was the best day of my life up to that point.
We had a wonderful wedding surrounded by family & friends everything went & was perfect.

A year later Aug 14th 2007 was an even better day we were Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for Time & all Eternity.
It was an amazing day I can't even explain the amount of love & happiness this day held for me.

The day before (Aug 13th) my husband took me on a surprise date.
He got his mom to watch the boys, he got take out from Lucky China & he picked me up & off we went.
I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing.

Let me back track & paint a picture for you for a moment.
The fall before we got engaged he took me up to Farmington Peak to watch the sun set.
It was very beautiful & romantic I had mentioned to him that it was something I wanted to experience with him so he surprised me that night taking me up there.
(For those of you who aren't from here it over looks the great salt lake & is so beautiful & peaceful).

So  back to my story he took me back up to Farmington Peak.
For obvious reasons it was very special to me.
We talked and laughed and watched the sky light up with amazingly brilliant colors, and just as the sun was setting he handed me a little white box.

And in the box was this.....
(It's not the best picture)

But he gave me these beautiful Diamond earrings.
I was a little confused as to the occasion for such a nice gift & when I asked he said

"I wanted you to have something pretty to wear to the temple tomorrow"

I cannot believe how lucky I am to have him.
NOT because he buys me pretty things (Which he does), But because he is so thoughtful & because he Loves me so much.
I have got to be the luckiest girl alive.
I wear my earrings everyday (I just took them out to take a picture for you).

And those of you who have figured out that Aug 14th just passed us.
He had another surprise for me this year.
He got Grandma & Grandpa to take the boys sat night & he surprised me by taking me to the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley in Park City.

It's a 5 star resort the same one that Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy got married at this last winter.
It was absolutely beautiful.

He got us a luxury room that was so spacious & beautiful, we even had our own deck with a hot tub.

Jer in our private hot tub.

The view from our deck.

The employees were so nice and the grounds were beautiful.
Park City is beautiful anyways, but when you get to experience it like this and with a man like this......

It's priceless!!!

Fun at the County Fair

This last Friday Jer & I decided that it would be fun to take the boys to the County Fair.
We were right they had a blast.
Here are some pics of them petting the baby animals.

Here is Kelton staring at a Huge Bull.
Notice in the back ground his brother playin in the bulls water bucket!
Thank goodness for purse size hand sanitizers!!!
He had more fun trying to play in the animals water than he did trying to play with the animals.

We had a great time and the boys were so good.
Dad bought the boys these cute swords they light up & have 6 different color changing elements to them.
Gage already knows how to use his I keep having to take it away because he's beating Kelton with it.

Amazing Cakes

The other night I was on the Roy High Reunion sight & I found this lady Jen Vesper that makes these amazing cakes, cupcakes, mini cakes, & rice crispy treats.
I asked her if I could do a shout out on my blog about her amazing talent so Here it is!!!
These are a few of my favorites.

I really wish I would have known about her for the boys 1st birthday I would have gotten this cake for them, maybe for there 2nd birthday.
She put some dry ice in the hot lava pit between them & said that it was a hit.
I think it's really cute & creative.

Go check out her blog you won't be disapointed!!!
Tell her you saw the shout out here.
