My Gage has figured out that if he stands on his tip toes he can reach things on the counter in the kitchen.
So after I poured some milk in a bowl for him to have some cereal I turned around to put the milk back in the fridge & heard the milk spilling & Gage crying.
This is what I saw.....
Is it Really Bad that I took the pictures before I put him in the shower?
I know I'm a shoe in for mother of the year!!!
Another bit of Randomness...
The boys have both learned how to unlock the dishwasher & think that they need to play in it & on it.
Well mom isn't going for that idea so they have been getting 1 min in time out every time they do it.
I got this really cute Time Out Spot rug from one of my friends at my baby shower.
The boys will actually stay on it pretty well most of the time, BUT they don't like it!
Here they are on the Time Out Spot.
I know I'm such a mean mom!
Like I said before I'm a shoe in for Mother of the Year!!!

See that's where you're wrong...you're are mother of the year because you're teaching them to behave...I wish more mothers had your courage and fortitude...the easy way is to let them just be beasts...but look at those sad faces...you mean mommy!
too funny! I think I Like the Time-out "spot" better than the chair, especially for little ones. Way to go - you meanie mom! and I am so glad it was only milk he grabbed and not hot water...whew!
oh - and i am giving you a shout-out on my blog for this!
I love those pics.....I do the same thing...gotta get the pics.
I love the time out rug too....I'm gonna have to get something like that....I never know where to put him for time out. Genius!!!
I agree...you are definitely up for Mom of the Year - I love that you are teaching your kids discipline. Lots of parents think that either it's not important or kids your age would be too young.
I love the mat too - I need to find one of those!
These are the cutest pictures ever! I take pictures of Moose crying before I clean him/hold him/whatever. Those tears are memories, too. And I love that they stay on the time out rug...how old are they? Wondering when I can start that.
THAT is so cute! I love the milk dripping off his head.
As for the time out spot....where do I get one? Do they come in husband sizes, too?
Haha, oh but they look so irresistably adorable! I don't blame you. Aww too cute, cannot get over it :)
And thanks so much for passing by my blog. Watch out for your little ones!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Your boys are SO adorable, even when they're angry!
Good job, mom, for teaching them discipline!! WTG!
Those are the most adorable photo's.
That milk on the head picture is priceless!
Dude those twins are P. O'd being in time out!!!! I love how they think their world just crashed down around them when we won't let 'em do something they want!
hey hope you don't mind me stoppin by. Found you from Emma's shout out. Love the rug btw...can you ask your friend where she got it?? I could use 7 of them. 1 for each of my kids and 1 for the hub. ;)
I need a time out rug! Where did you get it?
I love your time out rug! Especially b/c it fits 2 better than 1- ha ha! I think it's wonderful that you see the cuteness in their hard times but I couldn't agree more about the discipline. Especially because you have 2.. if you don't do it now it will definetly bite ya in the butt. Way to go being a great mom!
And yes how could you not resist...
Oh man, I am not looking forward to when Mais figures all these little things out, I really don't know how you do it with two! I feel like I have my hands full. I love the time out rug, how old were they when you started time out?
You know what they say....you can get mad or you can take a picture.
I usually opt to take the picture too!
They look so pitiful and sad...and adorable! LOL Good for you for teaching them young.
I love the Time Out rug. I hope you bring out the photos of them on their rug on their 21st birthdays.
It is tradition in Australia to show embarrassing photos from your childhood on your 21st birthday. Not sure if you have the same tradition in the US.
I found your blog through Emma's...
I love the time out. One wants to cry, the other one is...
Which leads to both...too funny
I do the same thing! My daughter today finally learned to take her diaper off, and she was standing on the entertainment stand. Naked. What did I do? Take a picture, of course! Even better? She'd peed all over it (and her toys).
Those pictures of your twins on the time out spot are priceless! My daughter wouldn't sit there to save her life! She thinks it's a game (unless I put her in her crib without toys). Thanks for stopping by today!
Thanks for stopping by on my SITS day! I have to say the frowny face on the little blonde boy is priceless! And I so want that rug!! My Bagel is right around the corner of needing one!!
Oh and on the organizing bit check out my new obsession... flylady.com.
My other obsession I just started the Twilight Series...
Feisty
I love it love it love it!!!!! Not much more that can be said. Being a good Mom like that you really should be Mom of the year! WELL DONE! So cute besdies!
I love those pictures. I have done that before, taken pics before "helping" the child. I kind of did it with my oldest last week when he cut his thumb.
You and I will be running mates for the mom of the year!
Time-out spot. So cute. Crying babies. So cute. They can be so dramatic huh?
